Alma Grace Glisson, age 81, of Centerville, Indiana, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at her home.

Born at home on October 24, 1940, in Cambridge City, Indiana, to Otis Broglin and Esther Gray Broglin, Alma was a life-long resident of this area. Alma attended Greens Fork High School and was a homemaker all her life. She had many hobbies, including pool playing, rock hunting, rock collecting, crocheting, crafting, thrifting, refinishing woodwork, fixing up houses, cruising the countryside with Oliver, socializing with friends and family, caring for animals, and gardening. She was a Reiki Master and a member of the Sanctuary of Light Spiritual Church in Williamsburg. Alma was a beacon of light for many people.

Survivors include her daughters, Deanna Smith of Centerville, Indiana, Denise (Dan) Shirk of Vandalia, Ohio, and son, Scott (Missy) Glisson of Centerville, Indiana; brother, Otis Broglin of Citra Florida; grandchildren, Jerica Thomas, Jesse, Cody, Sam, Sara, and Cory Glisson, Carla Smith, Amanda (Zack) Guess, Harrison and Miranda Smith, and Jonathan Casey; great grandchildren, Christopher and Serenity Gaston, Kori and Jordan Thomas, Logan Grubbs, Raven and Phoenix Guess, Hayden Miller, Deanna Berry, Colton and Levi Glisson, Mason and Wyatt Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver S. Glisson; parents; sons, Nicholas and Dean Glisson, and daughter, Deborah Buccella.

Visitation for Alma Grace Glisson will be from 12:00 to 2:00p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Alvey officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
