Paul W. Constant, 85, of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was born September 1, 1937 in Muncie, a son of the late Harley and Adelia (Cooper) Constant.
A 1956 graduate of Muncie Central High School, he studied architecture after high school. He retired from Westinghouse ABB in Muncie following over 37 years of service, where he also served at the President of the Union. He loves spending time with his grandchildren, and especially enjoyed attending each of their sporting events. He was active at The Christian Church of Bradford Park in Muncie.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Karen Constant of New Castle; two children, Jay (Pamela) Constant of Pensacola, FL and Megan (Tony) Walker of Martinsville; stepchildren, Brad (Jen) Burk of Zionsville, Troy Burk of Indianapolis, and Mark (Teresa) Cooper of KY; grandchildren, Cody (Stevi) Walker of Martinsville, Mariah Walker of Indianapolis, Haley Walker of Martinsville, Melody (Austin) Shideler and Margo Constant; step grandchildren, Isabel Burk, Patrick Burk, Finnagin and Phoebe Burk, Nate Burk, Lucy Burk, and Sam Burk; great grandchildren, Tyler Constant, Jalynn Gann, Katelin Gann, and Anderson Shideler; two nephews, Ronnie Landis and Greg Landis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jill Constant; two grandsons, Jay and Timmy Constant; sister, Erma Landis; step-daughter, Kimberly Burk; two brothers, Bud Cooper and Richard Cooper.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Fran Bullock officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Kokomo.
