At its July 24 meeting, Centerville-Abington Community Schools’ board said goodbye to two coaches and welcomed a new coach and several returning coaches and athletics volunteers.

James Fralick has been hired as Centerville Junior High School tennis coach.

Haley Conway is departing as Centerville Senior High School assistant girls basketball coach and Mika Frame will no longer coach CJHS cross country after becoming Centerville-Abington Elementary’s assistant principal.

CSHS coach rehires include Chad Robertson (boys bowling); Briendle Fletcher, Austin VanDevender, Zach Smith and Kobe Murphy (football assistants); Beau Bryant (freshman football); Jimmy Basler (head varsity volleyball); Mandi Chiddester (volleyball assistant); Randy Ecker (head boys tennis); Ricky Torres (varsity girls soccer); Ricardo Torres (varsity boys soccer); and Aaron Roberts (girls golf).

Volunteers approved at the meeting were Tyler Gilbert and Steve Frye (CSHS football); Sydney Basler (CSHS volleyball); Susie Ecker (CSHS tennis); and Sarah Roberts, Tami Estes, Adam Page (CJHS volleyball).
