Brenda Lou (Jones) Thompson, 74, of Richmond, died March 2, 2023, surrounded by her family in her home. She was born January 1, 1949, in Richmond to Sandlin and Mayme Pearl Gregory Jones and had lived here all her life. She was a beautician and owned Brenda’s Beauty Salon.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 58 years Terry, two sons David Thompson and his fiancé Melissa and Ty Thompson and his fiancé Debi, five grandchildren Jessica Thompson, Brittany Thompson, Sara Gentile, Dylan Thompson, and Cole Thompson, four great-grandchildren Mason Hill, Davion Crigler, Gabriel Thompson, Kaitlyn Thompson, two sisters Barbara Jones Conder of Richmond and Etta Jones Burnell of Carmel. Her daughter Lisa Renae Gentile died on February 2, 2023, and she is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Brenda will be 1:00 P.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Holman officiating. Her burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
