Jerry Lee Martin, 61, of Williamsburg, passed away on Monday, March 6. Lee was born on June 2, 1961 in Winchester, Indiana to Jerry and Diana Sue Frazer Martin, both of whom preceded him in death.
Lee grew up in the Williamsburg area and lived there his whole life. He farmed and also hauled grain for Green Oaks Farms. He formerly worked at Envirotech. Lee loved spending time hunting. Lee was a hard-working man. He loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Lee will be missed by his step-mother, Joyce Martin; siblings, Ron Martin, Mary & Mark Kendall, Marla & Scott Raines, Lisa & Daniel Schwegman, Ken & Mary Martin, Jason Martin; daughter, Jessica Sawyer & husband, James; grandsons, Wyatt and Westin Sawyer and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents, Albert “Dick” & Paralee Martin; maternal grandparents, Paul “Shorty” & Mary Jane Frazer; sister-in-law, Christine Martin.
Lee’s life will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12 at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery.
