Stephanie R. Murray, age 50, of Anderson, and formerly of New Castle passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023. She was born August 30, 1972 in New Castle, Indiana to Jimmy Hale & the late Shara (Osborne) Hale.
Stephanie graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School and earned a Masters Degree at the University of Phoenix. Stephanie served in the Army National Guard, the Henry County Sherriff’s Dept and most recently worked for Lowe’s Corporate Customer Care. She was also a member of the Adaptive Veterans Sports during her time living in New Mexico. She loved hiking, traveling, and spending time exploring all the sights with her close friends. She loved Mexican food, animals, and turquoise jewelry. More than anything, her time with her family was something she cherished most.
Stephanie is survived by her children Leara & Devin (Adrien) DeBruhl, 3 grandsons; Nolan DeBruhl and Brian & Bennet Johnston, her father Jimmy Hale and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Stephanie is proceeded in death by her mother Shara Hale.
In honoring Stephanie’s wishes there will be no services just a small Celebration of Life Party with family and close friends.
