Betty “BJ” Reitan, age 71, passed away on November 26, 2022, at Heritage House of New Castle. She was born September 6, 1951, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Keller, in Richmond, Indiana.
Betty was a graduate of Randolph Southern High School, and had been employed at convenience stores in a Management position. She loved her family and is now at peace.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Matthew Stephen (Megan Sparks), Connersville, IN, Dawn Wharton, Richmond, IN, and Valeria Grooms (Tom Gross), Eaton, OH; sisters: Crista Lum, New Castle, IN, Diana Cowen (Bruce), Lynn, IN, Sondra West (Ike), Sebring, FL, Judy Waller (John), Union City, IN, Machelle Metzger (Brian Wilt), Winchester, IN; brother: Rusty Keller (Julie Sebring), Lynn, IN; twelve grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Reitan, and a sister, Janet Keller.
The family wishes to give special thanks to ViaQuest Hospice and Heritage House of New Castle for their great care.
