Western Wayne News is sad to report that just before deadline, we received word that Cambridge City resident Jim Buhl lost his battle with breast cancer on Aug. 22.
As I write this, it is hard to summarize all he has meant to his family, friends, church and the community.
This soft-spoken man, filled with love, made everyone feel they were the most important person in the room.
He adored his beautiful wife, Diana, and together they showed all of us what a great marriage should be like. There was no question his kids and grandkids were the light of his life.
His kind and gentle spirit and wonderful sense of humor will be remembered fondly for generations to come. It is hard to express the loss we feel as he has been such an important member of our family and the community – a friend to everyone who was fortunate enough to cross his path. He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, sweet Uncle Jim.
Arrangements will be announced on our website at www.hmgccity.com/obituaries later this week. Additionally, a full obituary will appear in the Aug. 31 issue of Western Wayne News.
