Just a few weeks after announcing it was offering rides through Indianapolis to several Midwest cities, Megabus has announced to customers it’s stopping most of those services.
According to an Indianapolis Star story, Megabus told customers in an email it was canceling trips and was unable to sell tickets because of a recent business decision made by its partner, Miller Transportation.
Miller was to sell its excess seats through Megabus.
The service apparently ended on Thursday, Feb. 23. Megabus apologized for the inconvenience and said it hoped to find opportunities to resume future service, Indy Star said.
Western Wayne News is awaiting a response from Megabus and Miller officials about the potential impact on those who have planned to board a bus at Rose City Shell, 1304 Industries Road in Richmond.
