Hagerstown Thrift Store’s board of trustees will organize its annual meeting at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4.
It will take place in Nettle Creek Church of the Brethren, 5352 N. Brick Church Road, Hagerstown, and is open to the public.
Those attending will find out how the community thrift store has done over the last year and learn more about another area organization.
Dana Sinclair, community outreach coordinator for Natco Community Empowerment Center, will conduct a poverty simulation to help participants learn what it’s like to live at or below the poverty level.
