The improbable run by Team Great Lakes (Hagerstown, Indiana) came to an end Tuesday afternoon, with a 10-0 loss to Team Mid-Atlantic (Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania).
The players and coaches will return to Hagerstown with their heads held high.
They have forever placed their names in the record of outstanding athletic achievement in Wayne County, Indiana.
They will return to a heroes’ welcome with new friendships made among competing team members and a lifetime of memories.
