TEC fall sports All-Conference selections

The Tri-Eastern Conference announced their All-Conference selections for football last week, as well as a summary of all fall sports selections.

In boys and girls cross country and golf, all-conference selection is based on top ten finishes in their respective conference meets. In tennis, the All-Conference selections are the flight winners in the season-ending tournament. This year the tournament was rained out, so the selections were based on who compiled the best records in regular season conference matches. 

In football and volleyball, each team is awarded All-Conference selections based on TEC standings for the season. The league champions are awarded the most picks. Subsequent selections are earned by the team standings in league play, with every member school guaranteed at least one first team and one honorable mention selection. The longstanding practice of selecting a Player of the Year was discontinued at the end of the 2023-24 school year.
