The Noblesville golf team posted a team score of 294, on Saturday, Sept. 28, to win the Lapel golf regional played at the Edgewood Golf Course by eight strokes over Hamilton Southeastern and by 40 strokes over third-place New Palestine. All three teams advanced to the state tournament. Josie Kelley from Noblesville was the match medalist with an under-par round of 68. 

Richmond finished ninth in the team standings, Northeastern finished 11th. Competing as individuals for Centerville, Emma Staton and Kenna Hemmerling posted scores of 100 and 104, respectively. Peityn Gillman from Union County, an Indiana University East commit, tied for third in the overall scoring with a round of 72 and will advance to the state finals as an individual.
