The Richmond Lady Red Devils finished second to Harrison (West Lafayette) in the North Central Conference golf tournament on Monday, Sept. 11. Richmond senior Lauren Freeman was the match medalist with a round of 85.

The match was played at the Trophy Club in Lebanon, and the Lady Red Devils struggled to adapt to the rolling terrain and elevated greens at the links-style course. Harrison (West Lafayette) won the event with a score of 369. Richmond posted a team score of 376.

Richmond had three players in the top ten finishers to earn all-NCC honors. Freeman was first with a round that included two birdies, Isabella Roll was third and Hannah Stearley was eighth. It was the fourth consecutive season that Roll has earned all NCC honors.  

Harrison 369, Richmond 376 (Freeman 85, Roll 90, Stearley 93, Priya Hodges 108, Emma French 112), Logansport (408), McCutcheon (410), Lafayette Jeff (424), Kokomo (509). Anderson, Marion and Muncie Central competed with incomplete teams.
