On Monday, July 15, Richmond Police Department shared the identity of a local man who was injured in a July 12 shooting.
The person shot has been identified as Joseph Deloney, 38, of Richmond.
Deloney was shot multiple times, however the injuries were not life-threatening, said Capt. Curt Leverton of the police department’s Investigative Services Division.
The shooting occurred after some sort of altercation or argument took place in the 100 block of South 15th Street at a residence, Leverton said.
Police received the call at 2:35 a.m. July 12.
The victim was located in the first block of South 14th Street.
