Richmond won the boys Wayne County high school cross country race by a wide margin while Hagerstown won the girls race by a single point over second place Centerville Saturday, Sept. 5, on the Indiana University East Course.

Cale Newton (RHS) was the individual champion in the boys race in a time of 16:10.69, breaking his own high school course record. Hayden Neagle from Seton Catholic won the girls race in a time of 19:38.92.
