Community members are invited to attend one of two open forums about future plans for Richmond Community Schools.
RCS Superintendent Curtis Wright will lead the sessions that offer the public a chance to ask questions, share feedback and discuss the district’s strategic plan updates.
The sessions take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Test Intermediate School, 33 S. 22nd St. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Dennis Middle School, 222 NW Seventh St.

RCS began working on a strategic plan in 2024 with help from Indiana School Board Association, a 55-member planning team of community leaders, RCS staff and school board members and CDO Consulting Group.
This February, the school board approved the completed strategic plan that defines goals with measurable outcomes through 2030. Through that process, RCS changed its vision and mission statement and selected five priority values (students first, safety, academic excellence, integrity and community).
