Fans of the animated film “Finding Nemo” can find Nemo on stage this weekend and next. 

Richmond Civic Theatre’s Stage One Youth Theatre is performing “Finding Nemo Jr.,” which is based on the 2003 Disney/Pixar film. 

The performance will include rented puppets. 

The 60-minute musical will be offered Feb. 28-March 2 and March 7-9. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays at 1003 E. Main St., Richmond.

In advance, tickets are $13 for adults and $8 for students and seniors 65-plus. On show days, they are $15 and $9. 

According to RCT staff, the anxious and overprotective clownfish Marlin lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo. Nemo longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. 

But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and begins an epic adventure across the ocean. 

With the help of optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush and supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
