Lovada Fox, age 93, of Richmond, Indiana, died peacefully Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Reid Health. Born July 7, 1933, in Jackson County, Kentucky, to Marshall Abner and Retha Webb Abner, Lovada has lived in this community since 1953. She started working in 1977 for Alcoa/Silgan before retiring in 2001. Lovada formerly worked at Knollenberg’s and Richmond Glove Factory. She was a hard worker and dedicated employee. Lovada enjoyed bowling, taking care of her yard and flowers, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Jones; son, Gary (Gina) Fox; grandson, Jacob Jones; sisters, Barb Collins and Wanda Faye Fowler; brother, Marshall Abner Jr. (Freda); nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Fox, who died in 2016; grandson, Jason Jones; parents; and siblings, Ray Abner, Carmel Abner and Cletta Cox.
Services for Lovada Fox will be private and at the convenience of the family.
