Sylvia I. O’Neal, age ,61 of New Castle, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at The Waters of New Castle. She was born February 3, 1962, in Winchester, Indiana to the late Paul & Irene (Bartlette) Pearson.
Sylvia was a lively soul and enjoyed life to its fullest. Sylvia was a long time employee of Goodwill in New Castle. She enjoyed playing bingo and collecting unicorns and precious moments figurines. More than anything she enjoyed her time with her precious family who she loved dearly.
Sylvia is survived by her son Andy O’Neal; siblings; Paulette (Buddy) Christie, Phil (Melody) Pearson, Beth Anne Pearson and Tammy Pearson as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family survive.
Sylvia is proceeded in death by her parents listed above, her husband Joel E. O’Neal and brothers Ed & Fred Pearson as well several extended family members.
Visitation for Sylvia will take place on Wednesday November 22, 2023, from 10:00 ~ 12:00 PM at Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad St in New Castle. Funeral services will take place at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
