Sharon Joyce Sturgis age 77 of Richmond died December 21, 2022, at Reid Health. She was born February 14, 1945, in Richmond to Sylvester and Anna Nobbe. Sharon was a retiree from Belden Corporation.
Survivors include her daughter Dawnette (Koji) Kanekawa of Hiroshima, Japan, and one grandson Owen Kanekawa. She is also survived by her good neighbor Cindy Murray. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother James A. Nobbe.
Private graveside services were held in St. Mary’s Cemetery with Rev. Martin Holman officiating. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
