Paul Elmer Erb Jr, age 79, of New Castle, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2022, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born January 31, 1943, in New Castle Indiana to the late Elmer Albert Erb and Zella (Prater) Erb.
Paul was a Minister of the Bible Holiness Church for 25 plus years. Paul also travelled as a minister to homeless shelters and to different churches to help. He also worked as a mechanic.
Paul enjoyed metal detecting, fishing, model building and traveling. On one trip he went to the Holy Land and Jerusalem. More than anything he enjoyed his time with his precious family whom he loved dearly.
Paul is survived by Ex-wife Theresa Agee Erb; Daughter, Terry (Rusty) West; Son’s Teddy (Tanene) Erb; Stacey (Lorrie) Erb; as well as precious grandchildren; great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Paul is proceeded in death by his parents listed above, a son Paul Elmer Erb III, brother, Sonny Erb and sisters Mary Wright, Margret Hoover, Betty Mahaffy.
Visitation for Paul will take place on Monday January 23, 2023, from 4:00 ~ 7:00 PM at Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad St in New Castle. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 10 AM, January 24, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition in New Castle.
