Paul A. Piercy, age 64, of New Castle, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Henry Community Health. He was born August 22, 1958, in New Castle, Indiana to Hilda (Horace) Dalton & the late Paul Piercy.
Paul was a 1976 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He worked in Construction as a painter and drywaller for Loveless Construction. Prior to that he worked for 25 years for the Indiana State Highway Dept. He enjoyed playing sports as a youth, and coaching as an adult. He also enjoyed following Indy Car and NASCAR Racing. The thing he valued most in life was the time he spent with his family, whom he loved dearly.
Paul is survived by his mother, Hilda Dalton; son, Michael Piercy; sister, Kimberly Piercy, his grandchildren, lifelong best friend, Mark Heim, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation for Paul will take place on Wednesday February 15, 2023, at Rose City Funeral Home, 2011 Broad ST. New Castle, Indiana from 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM. Funeral services will take place following the visitation at 1pm at the funeral home.
