Nora Ann (Snedigar) Loveday, 91, of New Castle passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023. She was born on August 18, 1931 in Mt. Summit, a daughter of the late John Henry Clay and Vadie (Blake) Snedigar.
Known to be always full of energy, Nora enjoyed playing Bingo and in her younger years was a bowler.
Nora is survived by her children, Rita (David) Alexander of New Castle and John Loveday of Columbia City; grandchildren, Christina (Tim) Corbin of Muncie, Brent Alexander of New Castle; great grandchildren, Bryson and Paeton Corbin both of Muncie; sisters, Susan Alcorn of Muncie and Hazel Coates of Tacoma, WA.
In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Amos John Loveday; sister, Mary Jane Loveall.
Services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at HInsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Toby Smith officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
