Marc Allen Samples, 31, of Richmond, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 28, 2022. He was born February 3, 1991, in Richmond to Christy Chance and Robert Samples. He was a life-long resident of Richmond.
Marc had worked odd jobs mostly in construction and home improvement. He was very proud of his recent achievement of attaining his GED. Marc was loved and will be greatly missed by his family.
Survivors include his mother, Christy Chance; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Chance both of Richmond; paternal grandmother, Sue Presby of Kentucky; one sister, Cassandra Harris; 2 brothers, Nathan and Skyler Samples; 2 nephews, David and Dalton Alvarado; 2 nieces, Christine-Ann and Alyssa Alvarado all of Richmond; one maternal great aunt, LaVerne “Aunt Toots” Lunsford of Connersville, IN; 2 uncles, Ben Chance of Liberty , IN and Zach Chance of South Carolina; 4 aunts, Valerie Gard of Farmland, IN, Jennifer Chance and Amanda Kenworthy both of Richmond and Amy Kenworthy of Centerville, IN; and 10 maternal cousins, Daniel Jones, Allison Jones, Jessica Farmer, Stephen Smith, Paige Alvarado, Matt Alvarado, Tori Davis, Taylor Davis, Tanner Davis and Jonah Kenworthy; and numerous paternal aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marc was preceded in death by his father, Robert Samples, Maternal grandparents, Beverly and Kenneth Kenworthy and one uncle, James Chance.
