Linda Rose King, age 70, of Richmond, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 3, 2023. Born June 29, 1952, in Richmond, Indiana, to Melvin and Blanche Johnson, Linda was a life-long resident of Richmond.
She worked at Mechanics Laundry for many years and a few years at Taco Bell. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah (Bill) Willett of Fountain City, Indiana; grandsons, David Ellis Jr. of Richmond and Noah Ellis of Fountain City; sisters, Lisa Napier of Richmond and Dorothy (John) Blevins of Centerville; brothers, Melvin (Tracey) Johnson and William Johnson, both of Richmond; aunt, Rose (Russ) Powell of Richmond; uncle, Kenny Pfoutz of Richmond; nieces; nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts; uncles; and cousins; who have all welcomed her home.
Visitation for Linda Rose King will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
