Larry Lee Walton, 65, Tipp City, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Grandview Hospital in Dayton after an extended illness. He was born October 3, 1957, in Richmond, Indiana, to Treva Ann (Bragg) Walton and Richard Charles Walton, both of whom preceded him in death.

Larry graduated from Richmond High School in 1976. He worked in a small business installing automobile accessories before joining the Richmond Police Department for 5 years. After his marriage to his wife, Karen, on June 25,1983, they moved to Huber Heights, Ohio, where he worked for Factory Direct, Dayton Speedometer Services and Sibcy Cline Realtors until his health deteriorated and he retired in 2003. As a youth, Larry was baptized and grew up in Bethel A.M.E. Church, Richmond.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Sedgrick Satterfield, and two daughters, Stacy (Jermail) Craig and Brandy Walton; brothers, Garry Ray (Anita) and Michael Charles (Denise) Walton of Indianapolis, Indiana; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and an aunt, Eileen (Alvertis) Baker-Wall of Richmond, Indiana.

Service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 18th, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home in Fountain City, IN with the Rev. Kenneth Charles Chrismon officiating.
