Kristina (Goodpaster) Butler, 50 of New Castle passed away November 22, 2023, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born May 12, 1973, to Harold Goodpaster Jr & Bethel “Gail” (Thomas) Hastings.
Kristina was a 1991 graduate of Walter P. Chrysler Memorial High School. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved reading, music of all kinds and going to concerts. She loved herself and would always make sure her make-up and jewelry were on point. More than anything, it was her family that made her world go around.
She is survived by her children Mikayla (Trey Williams) West, Kassidy (Dennis Trosper III) West & Shania Butler: granddaughter Oaklynn Williams and grand-dog Odie: mother and father listed above and siblings Brandi Goodpaster and Josh Hastings: nephew Levon Groce and special friend Troy Craig.
Preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Ann Still
Visitation for Kristina will be Tuesday November 28, 2023, from 4:00 ~ 7:00 pm at Rose City Funeral Home, 2011 Broad St in New Castle. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday November 29, 2023, at the funeral home with Carl Addison officiating.
