Joy Darlene Morgan, born on December 9, 1934 passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the age of 88 years.
Joy was born and raised in Connersville, Indiana to William and Naina McQuinley, along with three sisters. Joy met her husband to be, William (Bill) E. Morgan while attending a dance at the Raleigh Dance Hall in Raleigh, Indiana. They were married on September 5, 1954. Family was everything to Joy and Bill, as was instilled to them through their mothers and fathers. Joy and her three sisters made sure that birthdays, holidays, and family gatherings were always top priority.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill on August 13, 2013; two sisters, Billie (Merle) Blakley and Donna (Lloyd) Pilgrim.
She leaves behind her daughter, Cynthia (Mike) Biehl; her son, Robert (Carolyn) Morgan; grandchildren, Brittany (Ryan) Dishman, Brice (Kaitlynn) Biehl, Emma (Jake) Kersey, Ross Morgan and Kori (Dakota) Smucker; great grandchildren, Braxton and Bryden Dishman, Aiden and Aria Biehl, Barrett and Baylor Kersey and soon to arrive, Finley “JOY” Smucker; a sister, Judith (Bill) Griffith; sister-in-law, Deborah (Joe) Whitesitt; along with several nieces and nephews from Connersville, Fort Wayne, Knightstown, Greenfield, Pendleton, Indianapolis and Dayton, OH.

Services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, February 13, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 PM Sunday. Condolences and memories of Joy may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com.
