Emma Mae Luna Osmun, age 79, formerly of New Castle passed away Sunday November 12, 2023, in Clermont, Florida. She was born January 1, 1944, to the late Carl Tom Willoughby & Gladys (Lawson) Willougghby.
Emma loved her family and having them close to her was something she valued. She was a caregiver and took care of the children of the family her entire life. She loved going to rummage sales and drinking her Pepsi. It was not uncommon to catch her watching an episode of Bonanza and Gun Smoke on TV.
Emma is survived by her seven children; Gilbert (Becky) Luna, Carlos (Lisa) Luna, Marcus Luna, David (Deena) Luna, Victoria (Tom) Shaver, Victor ( Muriah) Luna, and Reynaldo Luna: siblings; Barbara ( Arlin “Babe”) Kidd, Jim (Peggy) Willoughby and Jack (Murt) Willoughby: many many many grand and great-grandchildren: as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
She was proceeded in death by Danny Willoughby, Mary Kathryn Carroll, Brenda Kay Perry, Roger Luna, Gladys Luna, Antonio Luna and Lupe Luna.
Visitation for Emma will be Friday November 17, 2023, at Rose City Funeral Home, 2011 Broad St in New Castle from 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition.
