Donald Gene Guffey, 61, of New Castle passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Henry Community Health.
He was born on January 1, 1962, in new Castle, a son of the late Lonzo Guffey and Lou Tilde (Delk) Guffey.
Donald worked at Foam Rubber in New Castle and also various construction projects. He was also an active collector and had a gift to find value in things that others did not. Donald loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids and best friend, Gary Davis.
Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Kasie Mitchell; grandchildren, Connor Mitchell, Kilee Whittington (Jason Holton), Kaiden Whittington, Ciarah Whittington, Garrett Davis, Gage Davis and Gavin Southerland; great-granchildren, Brileigh Whittington and Lilah Holton; siblings, Jeffrey Guffey, David Guffey and Teresa Clark; special friend, Gary Davis, Michelle Kidd Faurole and Gayle Guffey
Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife Tammy Guffey; father, Lonzo (wife: Anna Rita) Guffey and mother, Lou Tilde Guffey and several brothers and sisters.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
