Cleo E.”Pat” Harding, 97, of New Castle, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at her home. She was born August 19, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Donald and Mildred Lantz.
She retired from New Castle State Hospital after several years of service. Pat was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and formerly a member of Spiceland Church of the Nazarene where she served as missionary president, taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and reading.
She is survived by two daughters, Joy Binion of New Castle and Dana Harding of Swaziland; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, a sister and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Butch and two sisters, Helen and Donna.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with her daughter, Rev. Dana Harding officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday prior the service.
