Vaughn Moore, 80, of Newport News, VA, passed away July 27, 2022, at Riverside Hospital, in Newport News. Born March 3, 1942 in Loudon, TN, to Jeff Frank and Addie Mae (Ladd) Moore, Vaughn had lived most of his life in the Hagerstown area.
Vaughn was a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the United States Air Force, and retired after 30 years with Dana Corporation. In addition to being a gun enthusiast, Vaughn loved doing carpentry work.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett of Greens Fork; Ronald of New Castle; and Lewis of Richmond; and infant sister, Marilyn Moore.
Vaughn is survived by his wife Carol; two sons, William C. (Dawn) and Joseph; and one grandson, Charlie, all of Virginia.
Graveside services will be conducted in West Lawn Cemetery, Hagerstown, at 3:00 P.M., Friday August 12, 2022.
