Tyra Lynn Hinsky, age 51, a New Castle resident and formerly of Cambridge City, Indiana, joined her daddy to dance on the streets of Heaven Thursday, January 13, 2022 due to end stage liver failure, and pneumonia. She was the baby of two brothers and a sister born September 17, 1970 in Richmond, Indiana, a daughter of Stephen and Joyce (Wilson) Hinsky.
She gave life to her daughter at the age of 16 with her high school sweetheart, Kevin Keiser and proudly accepted a high school diploma in 1988 from Lincoln High School, Cambridge City. She twirled the baton like a star, she was a cheerleader to the Eagles and played on the girls’ basketball team. After high school, she and Kevin were married and moved to Seymour, Indiana. She gave birth to a baby boy in 1992, Paul Keiser, who stole all of the attention away from his big sister, Brooke. Tyra enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren with anything that they asked for – if she could make it happen, she would without question. She enjoyed cooking her favorite meal, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and noodles. Tyra could never figure out why Paul put his corn on his mashed potatoes. Time goes on and life happened, and her mother and father dedicated their time to Tyra’s health. At a young age, she developed liver problems that carried with her until the end of her life. She decided to make mistakes along the way to progress her health problems but made a change to get sober years before her passing. She made every holiday special for her grand babies by spending the last dollar she had with a smile.
Left to cherish her loving memory include her mother, Joyce Hinsky; a daughter, Brooke Elizabeth (husband, Michael) Jones; a son, Paul Stephen (long time love, Brittney Roarer) Keiser; five grandchildren who called her “Nana”, Gabriel Bentley Keiser, Harper Ray Cramer, Hadley Maple Jones, Hudson Emersyn Jones, Wyatt Michael Garvin; one sister, Tami Pecora (husband, Paul); one brother, Todd Hinsky; nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
She was welcomed in the after life by her daddy, Stephen Hinsky; brother, Troy Hinsky; sister-in-law, Jane Hinsky.
Anyone that wants to say, “see you later,” are warmly welcomed to open the door at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel on US 40, Cambridge City, from 6:00 p.m., until the start of her funeral at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2022. The committal service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery where she will be at rest by her daddy.
