Thomas Emerson Mack, age 58, of Richmond, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 18, 2022, at Reid Hospital – Richmond, Indiana.

Born July 21, 1963, in Richmond, Indiana, to Tom and Carol Ann Mack, Emerson lived in Richmond most of his life. He graduated from Richmond High School. Emerson worked at Belden for 27 years. He also was a business owner of “The Barbeque Shop” with his family in Richmond, Indiana. Emerson accepted Christ and attended Bethel AME Church where he married his wife of 32 years. Emerson was an athlete and a “jokester” with a great sense of humor. He never met a stranger. Most importantly, he was a wonderful father, who loved his family and friends with all his heart.

Emerson will be greatly missed by his devoted and loving wife Patrice Mack; one son: Morgan Mack; one daughter: Kennedy Michele Mack; one sister: Damita Jo (Hubert) Perkins; one brother: Eric D. (Donna) Mack; three nieces: Sara (Akinpelu) Omokemi, Kassandra Mack, and Jailyn Mack-Handley; one great niece: Jovia Sanders; three nephews: Randle Perkins, Devin Mack, and Rylan Mack; special cousin: Keith Lynn; sister-in-law: Karen (Kenneth) Wyatt, grand puppy: “Honey”, his special friends of all time: Scott Cosby, Mark Bragg, Scottie Bragg, Harvey Williams, John Bennett, and David Tinsley; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: Tom Mack; grandmother: Ann O. Williams; brother: Brian D. Mack; father-in-law: Clyde Williams; mother-in-law: Juanita Williams; and grandmother: Mary Johnson.

Public calling will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Bethel AME Church from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 1pm at Bethel AME Church, where calling will be held from 11am-1pm. Burial will be at Earlham Cemetery.
