Robert A. “Bob” Ketron, age 84, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Rosebud Village.

Born December 31, 1937, in Richmond, Indiana, to Allen and Margaret McKnight Ketron, Bob was a life-long resident of Wayne County, Indiana. He attended Webster High School. Bob retired from Square D in Oxford, Ohio, after 20 years of service and previously worked at Richmond Gear for 27 years until it went out of business. He was a member of Old Trails Rifle and Pistol Club. Bob enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, playing the guitar, and reading science fiction books and watching science fiction movies.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Justine Mullins Ketron; daughter, Elaine (Rick) Emrick of Richmond; sons, Jim (Suzanne) Ketron of Largo, Florida, and Mike (Denise) Ketron of Richmond; grandchildren, Christopher Ketron, Kathy Ketron, Lauren Acess, Joe Ketron, Shannon Brown, Alyssa Ketron, Stacey Jones, Chad Emrick, Michael B. Morris II, and Brandon Morris; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; cousins; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Ketron; parents; and brothers, Roy and Ronnie Ketron.

Visitation for Robert A. “Bob” Ketron will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
