Renita L. Stephens, age 60, resident of New Castle, passed away in her home Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She was born January 12, 1962, in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of Roy and Gladys (Bertram) Stephens.
Renita attended New Castle Schools and was the manager at Mancino’s in New Castle for 12 years. She was a homebody who enjoyed reading and being outdoors where she would spend time gardening in her yard. Family was #1 with Renita. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren in addition to all the “work kids” she managed through the years.
Left to cherish her loving memory include a son, Shay Dishman; two grandchildren, Haeden and December Dishman; one sister, Royetta Page; one brother, Richard (wife, Jill) Stephens; special nieces, Amy Page and Deana Hopkins; a very special friend, Dalanda Straka; several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Regina Fitzpatrick and one brother, Russell Stephens.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Rose City Funeral Home, Macer-Hall-Marcum Chapel, 2011 East Broad Street, New Castle.
