Penny Gay Orcutt, age 59, resident of New Castle, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at Henry Community Hospice. She was born September 13, 1962, in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of Ralph and Barbara Jean (Ballenger) Orcutt.
Penny was a graduate of New Castle High School and studied drafting with the State of Indiana. She was known to be the best house cleaner. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara (Ballenger) Orcutt; a daughter, Ashley (Andrew) Jella; two grandchildren, Mitchell and James Jella; sibling, Lewis (Vanessa) Orcutt; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Orcutt and a son, Charlie Lewis Orcutt; a sister, Tammy Jean Guffey.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2022, at Rose City Funeral Home, 2011 East Broad St., New Castle.
