Pauline Vivian (Flatter) Sedgwick, 93, of Richmond, Indiana died of health complications on February 15th, 2022, at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond. She was born on May 20th, 1928 in Hollansburg, Ohio to Roy Edward Zurwell and Levada (Flatter, Zurwell) Whitaker.

Pauline married John R. Sedgwick on March 18th, 1983. She retired from Belden after 37 years and worked at K-Mart for 14 years. Pauline was a member of the Belden 25-year Club, Belden Live Wires, Ladies International, Kirk Little VFW Post #1108 Ladies Auxiliary where she volunteered for the Buddy Poppies program for Veterans for 5 years, and Harry Ray American Legion #65 Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her husband, John Sedgwick, sisters Mary Grace (Zurwell) Yount and Peggy (Zurwell) Smith, great-grandson Liam Duncil and step-granddaughter Angela Williams.

Pauline is survived by her son Dwight (wife Barbara) Miller, daughters Connie (husband Stewart) Hamilton, Shirley (Brent) Bird and Judy (Gary) Davis; 6 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 15 step-great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and 9 great step-grandchildren. Also Sister-in-law Cloma Chasteen.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at Stegall- Berheide- Orr Funeral Home in Richmond, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pauline’s Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
