Pamelia Louise “Penny” Hedrick, 74, of New Castle passed away Thursday evening, September 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born July 11, 1948 in Springfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy Faye (Baynum) Steele.
Penny was an avid Elvis fan and loved watching soap operas and listening to oldies music.
Survivors include two sons, Tom (Teresa) Hedrick of Mooresville and Steve (Carla) Hedrick of New Castle; two grandsons, Nathan (Sarah) Hedrick and Nicholas (Aubrye) Hedrick, both of Mooresville and seven great grandchildren, Bryleigh, Mylah, Zoey, Loraine, Dawson, Saige and Diezel Hedrick; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis and Dale Steele; and her best friend, Ruth Hardyman.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Pastor Allen Polston officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition.
