Norman G. Barron, 81 of Connersville passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. He was born on June 30, 1941 to the late Grant and Nettie Bradley Barron in Mt. Vernon Kentucky.

On October 23, 1989, Norman married the love of his life Margaret Holbert Barron.

Norman was a career truck driver, and he took pride in taking care of his family. He was a longtime member of Glenwood Church of Christ.

Norman loved the time he spent with his family and his dog Sammy. He enjoyed having a moment to relax while casting his fishing line. He was an avid bargain shopper, he loved to stop at yard sales. His favorite things to find included clocks, watches, and old tools that he could add to his collection. During the gardening season you could find Norman tending to his crops and later canning them for his family to enjoy.

Norman is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Margaret, and his children Ronnie, Nancy, and Mike; all of Mt Vernon Kentucky; his bonus children Barbie Stanley of Dayton, OH and Kenny Curry of Avon In; and his sister, Christine Odesa of Crawfordsville, In.

His memory will be cherished forever by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and bonus grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, a son, James Edward Barron; a bonus daughter, Laura Faye Selby; sister, Mary McCown; brothers, William, Harold, and Earl Barron; and his beloved dachshund Rowdy.
