Norma Bishop (nee Emrick) passed away of natural causes on March 20, 2022.  She was raised in and around Eldorado, Ohio, graduated from Monroe High School in Preble County, and moved to Richmond, Indiana.  She worked at Belden Wire in Richmond for 31 years until she retired in 1984.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Edith (Henderson) Emrick, her brothers: Gene, Robert, Rolland, Richard, Donald and Lloyd Ray; and sisters: Kathleen Baker, Evelyn Cencebaugh, Maxine Baker, Phyllis Swihart, Rosanna Owens, Helen Smith and Shirley Geeding; and her granddaughter, Deana Ewan Cooper.

Norma was a very generous person with a robust personality and a great smile.  She loved to watch tennis and basketball, especially her Pacers.  She was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother.  She is survived by her daughter, Linda Holmes (nee Caldwell), her son, Rex Johnson, her grandchildren, Tony Ewan (Georgette) and Ryan Johnson (Brandi); six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
