Monte Gene “Bub” Watson, 66, of Connersville, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at his residence. He had been in failing health for a number of years.
He was born October 28, 1955 in Connersville, one of three children of Howard Lee and Barbara Trueblood Watson.
A talented carpenter, he had worked many jobs in building and construction in the area. He was also an accomplished guitarist and enjoyed playing. Monte loved going to concerts.
Survivors include a son, Joshua Watson; two grandchildren, Alex and Carisma Watson; a sister, Kathy (Terry) Howard; a niece, Kolina Howard; a great niece, Izzy Garci; and two special friends, Bev Smith and Kim Trupp, all of Connersville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ricky Watson.
