Mary Jo Tubesing, age 75, of Richmond, Indiana, died Monday, October 24, 2022, at Friends Fellowship.
Born March 7, 1947, in Richmond, Indiana, to Richard and Joanna Hill Mikesell, Mary Jo was a life-long resident of Richmond. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and attended the University of Arizona. Mary Jo and her husband, Dale, raised and trained quarter horses. She was a member of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. Mary Jo was a member of the Centerville Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn (Chris) of Richmond; son, D.R. (Theresa) Tubesing of Richmond; two grandsons, Garrett and Wyatt; two granddaughters, Brooke and Drew; one great-granddaughter, Ember; one sister, Sarah Bradley; sister-in-law, Gayle Rose; brother-in-law, Morris Tubesing; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale R. Tubesing, on August 25, 2007; and parents.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022, in Earlham Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
