Mark Slover, age 64, resident of New Castle, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at his residence. He was born March 10, 1958, in New Castle, a son of the late James Slover and Georgia (Axel) Slover.
Mark married the love of his life Judy (Lowe) Slover on September 6th, 1977 and enjoyed 45 years of marriage. He attended New Castle High School. He enjoyed working on cars, NASCAR Racing, especially Dale Earnhardt, Mark was a true 49’s fan as he didn’t miss a game that was on TV on a Sunday as with NASCAR. He always had the answer for everything – he was YouTube before there was a YouTube. More than anything he enjoyed his time with his children and grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart.
He is survived by his wife Judy Slover; children; Christy Slover, Mark Slover Jr.: grandchildren: Alyssa Pipenger, Mark Clayton Slover, CD Slover. Great-grandchild: Timothy Slover and five siblings; Larry (Ladonna) Slover, Howard Slover, Eddie (Barbara) Slover, Michael (Patti) Slover and Wanda Russell as well as several nieces’ nephews and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father listed above. A brother Jeff Slover; In-laws Shirley Lowe, and Everett Lowe.
Visitation will be held on December 20, 2022, from 4:00 ~ 7:00 pm at Rose City Funeral Home; 2011 Broad St, New Castle, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on December 21, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
