Marguerite “Margie” Elaine Oldham Mullins, age 81, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022, after a brief illness, at Reid Health.
Born August 22, 1940, in Fayette County, Indiana, to Marion and Frances Fryman Oldham, Margie lived in this area most of her life. She began her career at AVCO and later worked as secretary to the President at Earlham College. Margie also held positions at Bethany Seminary and Reid Hospital. She enjoyed volunteering at Civic Hall and traveling and spending time with her family. Margie was a leader in the Richmond Bible Study Fellowship and very active in the Emmaus Community. She was a fan of auto racing. Margie was an active member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Jeff (Carol) Mullins of Indianapolis, Indiana, Teresa Mullins of Denver, Colorado, and Joe (Julie) Mullins of Fishers, Indiana; grandchildren, Amber Mullins (Ben Burg), Aubrey Mullins (Adam May), Jacob Mullins, Sean Mullins, and Jenny (Josh) Yeager; great-granddaughter, Trystan Mullins; brother, Jim (Karen) Oldham of Louisville, Kentucky; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Mullins; parents; and brother, Lowell Oldham.
Visitation for Marguerite Elaine Oldham Mullins will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Martin Holman officiating. Burial will be in Bryan Cemetery.
