Mannon Brockman, age 89, passed away at Reid Health on April 14, 2022.  He was born December 8, 1932, in Sand Gap, Kentucky, the son of Carlos and Carlie Brockman.

He was a welder by trade for 20 plus years at Mosey’s and Stevens Wire. He was a member of Chester Community Church.  He enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing, Judge Judy, and NASCAR when it was good and his grandchildren and great grandchildren and his dog, Jose.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 66 years: Victoria (Heath) Brockman; daughter: Rita (Bob) Holliday of Richmond; four grandchildren: Brandon Roberts (Crystal) of Richmond, Amanda Roberts (Doug) of Cambridge City, Tyler (Jordan) Griffith of Richmond, and Cody Griffith of Richmond; three great grandchildren: Jordan Roberts, Chloe Campbell and Kagen Rankin; sister: Estelle (John) Cates; two brothers: Danny (Lucy) Brockman of Sand Gap, Kentucky and Wheeler “Bud” (Patty) of Sand Gap, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Jake Brockman and Eddie Brockman; and a daughter: Ruby Morris who passed in 2016.

The family would like to express special thanks to Mr. Wayne Blair for officiating the service.

Funeral services will be held at Community Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 11:00 AM.  Family and friends may visit Wednesday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Victoria Brockman.
