Mabel Whitehead went home to our Lord on September 4, 2022 at Forest Park Health Care. She was 90 years old. A Celebration of Mabel’s life will be at Chapelwood Baptist Church, where she was a member for the last 23 years. The church is located at 1097 N. Old US 27, Winchester IN. September 17, 2022, services will begin at 2 pm. Pastor Chuck McMahan will be officiating.
Mabel loved people and showed that love through her incredible peanut butter fudge and baking cookies. Mabel was always laughing and joking with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and eating out.
Preceding Mabel in death are: her husband Willard, her parents, Milligan and Mary Fraley; brothers, Enois, Ralph, Jim, Tennis, Fred and Frank; sisters Dorothy Sparks and Aileen McDaniel. Survivors include her daughter Patty, her grandson David and two brothers: Russell and Junior Fraley.
