Linda Ellison, 77, of Connersville passed away early Thursday morning, December 22, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at her home.
She was born January 20, 1945 in Richmond, Indiana to Joseph and Louise Maze Suveges.
For 37 years, Linda was employed at Stant Corporation in Connersville, retiring in 2007. She attended St. Andrew Catholic School and Lincoln High School. She earned her GED in 1983.
On May 22, 1993, she married Harold J. Ellison, Sr. in Connersville. Mr. Ellison passed away on December 31, 2019.
Linda was a member of Glenwood Church of Christ, the Eagles, Moose, VFW, and American Legion. She also belonged to Fayette County Garden Club and Altrusa.
She loved shopping, gardening, traveling, and spending time drinking wine with her girl friends and spending time with family and friends. She believed in living life to the fullest every day.
Survivors include a son, James (Wanda) Smolik of Connersville; three grandchildren, Tami Smolik, Holly (Jay) Hoover, and Chris Smolik; one great-grandson, Hunter Hoover; two nieces, Diane Suveges and Vickie McIntyre; two nephews, Doug Suveges and Rick Smallwood; and four cousins.
Besides her husband, Harold J. Ellison, Linda was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Gene Cornelison; her parents, Joseph and Louise Suveges; two brothers, Jim and Joey Suveges; and a sister, Carolyn Hensley.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor David Bonne will officiate. Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery, Arlington.
