Kenneth “Mark” Price, age 60, resident of Mooreland, went home to be with his Lord, Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born January 17, 1962, in New Castle, a son of Kenneth Murrell Price and Joyce Darlene Perdew.
Mark was a 1980 graduate of New Castle High School. He began working at the age of 17 in photography as a sales manager with Olan Mills for 30+ years. Beginning in 2019, he began working as service coordinator with Hogan Truck Leasing in Indianapolis. He was a member of Losantville Separate Baptist Church.
Mark is remembered fondly as a doting husband, father, and papaw. He was an avid lover of all things, music, fishing, and traveled all throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Mark was a kind man that would do anything he could for a stranger. All one had to do was say they liked his tie, and he would take it off and hand it to them. He always brought the jokes with an ornery smile and could turn anything into a comedy.
Left to cherish his loving memory include his mother, Joyce Perdew of New Castle; his wife, Kimberly (Bennett) Price of Mooreland; four daughters, Mollie (Kristopher) Haines and Amanda (Benjamin) Hiatt, both of New Castle, Sara (Nathan) Smith of Muncie, Mary Price of Mooreland; an unborn infant, Riley; seven grandchildren, Lainey Hiatt, Norah Hiatt, Leland Smith, Elliana Haines, Oliver Smith, Evelyn Haines, and Noelia Smith; five brothers and sisters, Kent Price of Forsyth, Illinois, Brent (Cathy) Price of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Brian Price, Rebecca Price, Winifred (Chris) Logan, all of New Castle; his “girl” German Shepherd, Lady; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Losantville Separate Baptist Church, 55 East Wiggin Street, Losantville, In. Pastor Mike Thornburg will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Losantville. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m., until service time Wednesday, at the church.
